Eggplant is consumed in whole Europe, in the Middle East and Asia. It is especially popular in Turkey, in Trassylvania and in the Balkanian countries. There are a great number of ways to prepare this wonderful plant.

Our company offers eggplant spreads in two forms: plain eggplant spread and eggplant spread with mayonnaise. While the eggplant spread with mayonnaise fits better to the general taste the plain version can be better choice for those who prefer the stronger flavours or dieters. The latter can be a good base material too. Both of our eggplant spreads can be served as garnishes or just simply with rusk.
If stored correctly they keep their quality for weeks.

Eggplants (Solanum melongena) are grown for thousands of years in East Asia still they are known to Europe only from the Middle Ages.

The plant has big oval or elongated fruits with many colors from white to very dark puple. It is a good source of dietary fibers, vitamin B1 and B6 as well as potassium. Certain researches found that eggplants are lowering cholesterol levels and contain numerous anti-cancer components. The glycemic index of eggplants are really low so eating them hardly effects our blood sugar levels.
